CNC milling

Milling in vertical machining centres with indexing tables, pallet changers and robot loading. We mill parts in aluminium, zinc, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel and plastics.

Machining centres for 3- and 4-axis milling

Our milling department consists of vertical machining centres from Brother, Fanuc and Mazak. Most have an indexing table as a fourth axis, and the spindles run at up to 24,000 rpm. Travels are up to 700 mm in X, which covers most parts.

Several sides in one set-up

With an indexing table, the part can be rotated and machined from several directions without re-clamping. This means fewer set-ups and less risk of errors between operations.

Pallet changer and robot loading

The Brother Speedio R650X1 has a pallet changer, 22 tool positions and 16,000 rpm, so the next part can be clamped while the machine is cutting. Three of our machines are equipped with robot cells that load the parts into the machine: Brother Speedio X700X1, Brother Speedio R650X1 and Fanuc Robodrill D21 Adv.

Milling of castings and bar stock

We machine both bar stock and castings in zinc and aluminium. Operators check material and castings early, so defects are found before they lead to scrap.
