Critical dimensions are checked on our own coordinate measuring machine, and operators measure continuously at the machine throughout the series.
Measurement on our own CMM
In our measuring room, dimensions and geometry are checked on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). This is where the dimensions that are critical for the part are verified.
Checks at the machine
Each machine has hand-held gauges such as callipers, thread gauges and micrometers. Operators measure continuously so that deviations are detected.
Deviations stopped early
Operators flag defects in material or castings early, and production can be stopped to correct the problem before it leads to scrap.
Delivery precision
Equivalent machines allow us to move jobs between them at short notice and keep the promised delivery date.
